Flute New Music Consortium
A commitment to new repertoire is at the heart of my identity as an artist. To that end, much of my service work centers around serving the Flute New Music Consortium. FNMC focuses its efforts on expanding the repertoire through the commission and amplification of new works. As a co-founder and long-time board officer, I am especially proud of the works we have helped to create through our commission process, as well as the composer mentorship, and a variety of other board-led initiatives.

Valerie Coleman, GRAMMY-nominated flutist and composer, is a fixture in the flute community in both capacities. Her work, Amazonia was FNMC's third large-scale commission. Amazonia was FNMC's 2019 large-scale commission. The group premiere was in January 2020, culminating with a residency at Stony Brook University.
